Anick Langelier (born 1981)
Anick Langelier, a self-taught artist, has been painting compulsively since adolescence. Inspired by her personal interpretation of the Bible and her love of God, she creates paintings where Good and Evil, heaven and hell, angels and… her inner demons co-exist. In this relentless ” quest for truth , ” she appropriates the works of the painters who inspire her and integrates her own visions into a highly controlled and dazzling frenzy of forms and colors.
Anick Langelier’s works can be found at the Musée d’Art Contemporain Singulier in Mansonville, at the Galerie Robert Poulin in Montreal and at the Galerie Claire Corcia in Paris. Anick lives and works in Montreal.
