Bobs
Cogill Haworth was born in Queenstown, South Africa, and arrived in Toronto 1923.
She was a painter, watercolourist, illustrator, and ceramist. She studied at the Royal College of Art, London from 1919-23. She taught at the Central Technical School
from 1928-62, and University of Toronto from 1942-57. The National Gallery of Canada
commissioned Bobs Cogill Haworth to paint the activities of the RCN and RCAF of British Columbia and the Maritimes in 1943. She was a member of many groups including the WAAC, CSPWC, CGP, OSA, ARCA, RCA at different stages in her career. Bobs Cogill Haworth died in Toronto, May 7, 1986.*
